27 7/8in. nitro reproved chopperlump barrels, ribs engraved 'JOHN POWELL GUNMAKER REIGATE' and gold-inlaid '1' and '2' at the breech ends, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, manufactured by Grulla Armas with Holland & Holland style self-opening systems, actions with removable striker discs, sculpted toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, hand-detachable lockplates (No.1 with replacement non hand-detachable lock screw), articulated front triggers, fine floral and acanthus scroll engraving, the lockplates with finely engraved game scenes of woodcock and partridge, duck and pheasant, signed 'CASBARD', bright finish, 17in. figured semi-pistolgrip stocks including 3in. wooden extensions, weight 7lb. 8oz.
